VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SEA OATS PLANTING PROJECT

The City of Cape Canaveral (City) will be conducting our annual sea oats planting project on Saturday, February 11, 2012 beginning 9:00 a.m. at Cherie Down Park.  Volunteers are needed to help plant approximately 7,200 sea oats along the beach to further beautify/stabilize the Atlantic Ocean dune.  Planting supplies will be provided by the City, and food and beverages will be available at Cherie Down Park during/after completion of the planting activities.  Please come out and support this important community project.
