Registration Info:

The City of Cape Canaveral is hungry to reclaim the title of Most Fit City in the Health First 2020 Mayors’ Fitness Challenge!

Eleven mayors in Brevard County are challenging their citizens to join this healthy competition. The FREE 8-week challenge will track the minutes of participants’ healthy activities. The municipality reporting the most minutes of physical activity will be named “Most Fit City.”

Team Cape Canaveral is Captained by Leisure Services Manager Aaron Leyte.

The participating municipalities are:
  • City of Cape Canaveral
  • City of Cocoa Beach
  • City of Cocoa
  • City of Grant – Valkaria
  • City of Indian Harbour Beach
  • City of Indialantic
  • City of Melbourne
  • City of Palm Bay
  • City of Rockledge
  • City of Satellite Beach
  • City of West Melbourne

How to Submit Active Minutes
You will receive a survey by email every Friday. YOU MUST REPLY TO THIS EMAIL EVERY WEEK. The link will expire every Wednesday. If you do not reply before the link expires, your exercise minutes will not count toward your team total that week (with once exception, below).

Important Note: Every city has the option to track the minutes of their participants independently. This option was created for cities who do not have a large percentage of their population online or connected by email. The team captain will track and report minutes independently and report the numbers by submitting an excel spreadsheet weekly. If you need assistance, please contact Leisure Services Manager Aaron Leyte at (321) 868-1226.
