What We Do

The Cultural & Community Affairs Department delivers the cultural, historical and Community programs, events and outreach. Community engagement maintains social media channels, manages website content, assists with special events, creates and promotes programs + meetings, builds Community Partnerships and assists other departments with media/public relations.
  • Implement and evaluate community engagement activities such as City events, programs and meetings and neighborhood/Community partnerships
  • Identify and implement opportunities for involvement between the City and its surrounding communities and other local agencies
  • Cultural Programs diverse interactive experiences that enrich the quality of life for all citizens, educational programs liaison, Community Arts/Heritage Awareness, Historical Research and Library Services.
