Hosted in conjunction with this month’s Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations — and with the support of the Arbor Day Foundation and the Florida Forest Service — the City of Cape Canaveral will be distributing 50 Florida native seagrape plants to residents between Monday, April 19 and Friday, April 23 on a first come, first served basis.
Advance registration and proof of Cape Canaveral residency is required. For more information please visit: www.cityofcapecanaveral.org/trees.
The City of Cape Canaveral has been an officially designated “Tree City,” by the Arbor Day Foundation, for more than 30 years and sees this partnership as an opportunity to further expand its urban canopy and promote the use of Florida native plants.
