City Council rescinded the local State of Emergency at its meeting on June 15, 2021. Accordingly, effective June 15, 2021, building permit and various zoning application fee reductions are no longer in effect. City Council had temporarily reduced these fees by 50 percent to assist residents and business owners during COVID-19, with a return-to-normal date tied to the end of the local COVID-19 Emergency Order.

Additionally, with the rescinding of the local Emergency Order, the limited authorization for businesses to use one feather flag and a snipe sign was temporarily extended for one month (to July 20, 2021), to allow businesses a 30-day transition/grace period before these types of temporary signs must be removed (these signs are normally prohibited). City Council will consider the feather flag and snipe sign prohibition at their July 20, 2021 City Council Meeting.
