Eagle Scout Bramblett faced many challenges through the course of his planting project. Delays from the COVID-19 Pandemic, fundraising and a shortage of plants did not deter him. He worked alongside officials from the City of Cape Canaveral, Brevard County and even the state of Florida to see his project through to completion. On April 27, 2021, Bramblett and a number of other Eagle Scouts planted 300 hundred native plants at the crossovers of Madison Avenue, Monroe Avenue and Jackson Avenue. On the same day, he and his fellow Eagle Scouts also conducted a beach cleanup. He then donated the remainder of the money he had raised for his project to the City for further planting initiatives, amounting to just over $1,100.
The Cape Canaveral City Council presented Eagle Scout Bramblett with Certificate of Appreciation in grateful recognition of outstanding public service faithfully rendered to the City of Cape Canaveral for completion of the project, subsequent equipment and financial donation.
